Extra Credits #1 Most college writing is fact-based and research-based. Write a
600-750 word narrative—from your life experience, about your life before coming
to PSU, about your childhood and an important experience, about a teacher you
had who influenced you, etc.
Deadline: 4/8 (Tuesday)
Extra Credits #2 PSU campus has many concerts, shows, performances, and
sports events all year. Many of them are cheap or free. Attend an event, and write
500-750 words about it: describe what happened, and also about your response
EC Option #1 Choose an interesting person that you have met at PSU and
interview the person (e.g., your Professor or TA). Write up the information that
you learn from the interview in a 500-550 word text. But the person you interview
does NOT have to be an academic. There are many non-academic jobs and
activities on the campus!
Deadline: 4/22 (Thursday)
Submit a hard copy of an extra-credit assignment in class. NO LATE
ASSIGNMENT OR ELECTRONIC VERSION will be accepted.
