As part of the strengths that have been assessed, it is clear that I work diligently and selflessly with the aim of achieving the goals that are associated with social responsibility, personal performance, and quality service delivery. This is an aspect that has provided me with the opportunity of utilizing the available time and tangible resources in working out the jobs and duties that have been assigned to me. This is also associated with the aspect of seeking demanding situations and ensuring that I take full responsibility in regard to the associated outcome of such engagements. This has also become an opportunity of being in a better position and efficient when it comes to tackling problems head-on and determining significant ways of dealing with and overcoming various obstacles.
Competency in handling difficult people who seem to be ineffective is another critical strength that I have utilized in effectively transforming such individuals into creative and productive members that existed within high-performing teams. As a leeway of ensuring that the aspect of handling difficult people is efficiently achieved, I normally work through the process of aligning the efforts of different persons and teams with the vision, goals, objectives, and values of the working setup. This has also been made effective with the aspect of being able to handle crises inappropriate ways and rapidly influencing significant changes with various situations through a smooth and practical approach.
Apart from the strengths that I have, there are a number of areas that need more input and working to ensure that I excel in the engagements that are deemed as challenging. One of such weaknesses is the aspect of creating a climate of trust and open communication at all levels of engagement. It seems that I tend to be so much absorbed in responsibilities and measures of accountability that follow a structured model of communication within various teams; an aspect that has limited my abilities in creating a comprehensive environment that will be efficient in facilitating open communication among members of various teams. It is clear that this is an aspect that has appeared to be a threat in regard to what is required of me when it comes to managing people and other associated resources.
